February 21st 2008 was really a night to remember in Pasadena. NOMAD were privileged to present the BUDDY COLLETTE BIG BAND at Pasadena Jazz Institute.
For those fortunate enough to be in the audience it was a special night that will remain with them for the rest of their lives... but we're biased. Here is a selection of responses/reactions/thoughts sent to us after the event:

Katy Haber and Burt Young
"Spectacular"
"Magnificent evening -- proud to be part of it"
"It was a truly spectacular event, unsurpassed in the present world of jazz"
"Music was terrific"
"The evening was outstanding- thanks again for inviting us to this terrific event"
and, perhaps, the best of all, for us:
"What a great evening. Thank you" -- BUDDY COLLETTE

David Payne, Pam Gilles,
Sandy Skeeter and Burt Young
Special thanks must go to Rick and Sharon Ellingsen for making the event possible, and to Paul Lines and Seta of PJI, but our undying gratitude must go to the outstanding musicians. Some of LA’s finest jazz musicians:
LEE SICARD, DAN WEINSTEIN, LOUIS VAN TAYLOR, ANN PATTERSON,
LES BENEDICT, HAROLD GARRETT, GEORGE HARPER, WINSTON BYRD,
DAVE KOONSE, BOB COMDEN, ERIC BUTLER, JOHN STEPHENS,
GARNETT BROWN, RICHARD SIMON, HAROLD MASON, LANNY HARTLEY,
DR. BOBBY RODRIGUEZ, and, of course, the incomparable BUDDY COLLETTE.
